New, this year, to Nymet Music is Francis Chandler. A North Devon parish church organist, he has been composing for many years, his opera Ondieki the Fisherman was produced three times in Kenya and revived in the autumn of 2011.
His Springtime Garland was first performed in June 2011 to much critical acclaim, and his organ works have been performed recently by the organists of Exeter Cathedral both in recital and during divine worship.
